Publisher Of Clinical And Non-Clinical Nursing Information Acquired By HCPro

 
HCPro acquires Bandido Books

HCPro, Inc. has furthered its expansion into the nursing information delivery sector by acquiring Orlando-based Bandido Books, a publisher of clinical and non-clinical nursing information. HCPro completed the deal just days after acquiring Contemporary Long Term Care (CLTC) magazine and related products from HealthNet Information Services.

Marblehead, MA (PRWEB) February 27, 2006 -- HCPro, Inc. has furthered its expansion into the nursing information delivery sector by acquiring Orlando-based Bandido Books, a publisher of clinical and non-clinical nursing information. HCPro completed the deal just days after acquiring Contemporary Long Term Care (CLTC) magazine and related products from HealthNet Information Services.

“We have been very successful in the nursing market to date and it continues to be a high-growth area for us,” said HCPro CEO Bruce Guzowski. “This acquisition allows us to reach even more nurses, at every level, and provide them with products that deliver practical strategies and time-saving solutions to everyday workplace challenges.”

The Bandido Books deal is HCPro’s second acquisition of 2006, after completing six publishing acquisitions in 2005.

“Bandido’s aim is to remain sensitive to the professional needs of nurses and to enhance their practices through useful tools and a friendly voice,” said Bandido Books President, Martin Schiavenato. “I am completely confident HCPro will uphold this value as they move forward with the product lines.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

National Book Campaign By Executive Women International

Executive Women International joins together with award winning authors to launch unique book campaign.
